Life Vision

What do I want to be the best in the world at? How does each area of my life look like?

The year is 2033. I am 33 years old, happily married to my wife who's kind, self-aware, honest, intentional, and into self-development like me. We're both financially independent—freedom in terms of time, location, and finances—and masters of our own craft. We travel the world together, but have a nice mid-sized home in nature about an hour's drive from a big city that we rent out as an AirBnB when we're travelling.

We prioritize our health and well-being, no matter where we are in the world or the phase of life we're in. We live in tune with our menstrual cycles and our health, eating nourishing whole foods that meet all of our nutritional needs. We don't drink, smoke, or do psychedelics. While we enjoy doing different physical activities, our shared love of nature and functional strength means that we hike and gym together regularly. Because of our nutritious diet, exercise, and lifestyle, we have amazing energy, libido, and capacity for life's stressors without the need for numerous supplementation.

I am grateful to have a career of contribution. I made most of my wealth from writing in the early years of my career, and attained time freedom after I productized myself. My knowledge serves more than 1 million people each month, earning more than 1 million USD in monthly revenue. I am also a reputable researcher in the field of menstrual health: I've designed and run significant studies investigating the neuroscience, psychology, and lifestyle etiology and impacts of the menstrual cycle, including related disorders like PCOS. In order for more people to benefit from my research, I've also broken down my research findings into accessible, actionable lifestyle changes. Because I'm already wealthy, I can make this information available at a low cost—on my blog for free and organized as a paid course.

Ideal Day in the Life

Every morning at 6am, I wake up next to my amazing wife feeling well-rested and excited to tackle the day. My wife might not wake up with me, but we have similar bedtimes (~1h of each other's sleep and wake times). If she's not awake already, I let myself gaze at her cute sleeping form before getting up to start my morning routine.

My morning routine is loosely based on Robin Sharma's 20/20/20 routine from The 5am Club: I follow a 20-minute workout video (exercising different parts of my body each day), journal for 20 minutes, then learn for 20 minutes. My learning could consist of watching a video or reading a book, but it's usually the latter as I find highlighting easier than taking notes. Every Sunday, however, I swap out the journalling for the 6 Phase Meditation to remind myself of my life vision. Before starting work, I exchange nuzzles and passionate kisses with my wife before doing our affirmations and wishing each other an amazing day.

At work, I'm blessed with reliable and passionate colleagues. If there's something we don't know, we're determined to figure it out—and we can easily ask each other for help in the process. It's not all work and seriousness though—we bring the joy to the workplace, doing small acts of thoughtfulness for each other and encouraging each other to take breaks when someone looks stressed. For in-person colleagues I vibe with, we also hang out outside of work, e.g. on occasional weekday nights as well as during the weekends.

I'm excited to spend my evenings with my wife. Sometimes it's a chill night in, where we're doing our own non-work learning, watching a movie together, taking a short stroll after dinner, helping each other relax through massages, or simply showering and/or cuddling together. Before going to sleep, we do a five-minute stretch and have a playful time brushing our teeth and doing our skincare routine in our spacious bathroom.

Things I am still unsure about (2024)

  • I don't know how date nights are like. I need to define my definition of fun and look into what I need to feel connected.
  • I currently feel that I will continue to develop my spirituality and character through Buddhism—attending 共修 and volunteering at the temple's events at least once a week.

Thanks for reading :D
